For the record, I'm a big fan of the Chronograph 1, especially interested in models that don't have the characteristic black-coated case. The design is functional and timeless. Still, I prefer its bare titanium build and wonder if this bracelet will match the 2023 GP Ice Race version. While I'm not obsessed with the dial design of these S/T models, at least compared to the standard dials (nor the shift patterns), I like the color and the general execution - not a big deal. I like the way this case and bracelet are preheated through the full titanium treatment. Also, I think Porsche Design has implemented enough bespoke bespoke programs, similar to what is used to spec Porsche cars, that they offer on watches in their bespoke watch collection (rotors that match the wheels, center caps wait).

Even with that in mind, I think Porsche Design has created an interesting and unique expression for the Chronograph 1 and ties it to a moment in the automotive world. While I'm sure that connection resonates more with 911 enthusiasts than watch enthusiasts, it only needs to resonate with those owners who have the strongest emotional connection to their new car.
